The Yuchai YC12VC Marine Main Engine is a V-type marine diesel engine developed on a mature and proven VC-series platform. Yuchai designed this engine to meet the operating demands of offshore engineering vessels, passenger ships, and medium-sized transport vessels with displacements from 8,000 to 12,000 tons. By integrating advanced diesel engine technologies from Germany, the United States, and Japan, and by following modern European engine development processes, the Yuchai YC12VC Marine Main Engine provides stable performance, high reliability, and strong adaptability for commercial marine applications.

Energy Saving and Environmental Protection

The YC12VC marine diesel engine adopts a new-generation electronically controlled unit pump fuel system to improve fuel efficiency. In addition, it combines advanced design concepts with high- and low-temperature water cooling technology. Turbocharging with intercooling and a four-valve cylinder head design further enhance combustion efficiency. As a result, the engine meets IMO Tier II emission requirements while reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
